Here you tell me what you need so that we can pray together about it. It can be a spiritual, physical, emotional or mental/intellectual need. Let's share our knowledge and insight. It will be a sort of bulletin board for material needs as well. There will be no buying or selling, only gifting. Go to "Whatcha Got?" page to offer your gifts.

Maybe you think you have everything you need. I'd love to know how that happened for you. Most of us feel that we're lacking something sometimes. Did you know that the Bible says "my God shall supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus?" Since we experience needing things in several areas of our lives, I don't think this is a one-time promise. Neither do I think it is every need is all at once. I don't know the original language it was written in, and don't want to bore you with my love of studying such things. Hey, let's face it...we're all in need of something almost all the time. Maybe it's a listening ear or someone to give us an "atta boy/girl!"; maybe the cost of some medicine or a lesson in plumbing.
Here's something else to think about from someone with a reputation for great patience. "He wounds, but He also binds up; He injures, but His hands also heal." Job 5:18. MAN! Do Michael and I know all about this! It's a bit more specific version of "everything happens for a reason". If we assume this is true, and we put it together with the first concept, then even the "bad" things that happen to us are something that we need. Do you agree?...But WHY would God do that, and how does it play out in our circumstances? Is it possible that we don't even know what it is that we really need? When it's someone we love so fiercely that we would do almost anything for who has a need, must we always be the one to try to fill it, or are we supposed to just trust that what the scripture says is true and patiently wait to see how God simply or fantastically keeps His promise? Maybe what many of us really need is just some opportunities...opportunities to BEHOLD His ability to keep His promises and experience awe and wonder at it.

I'm not sure how to use your new site! seems i always have to have techie type things explained to me! So that may be "need" number 1! hehe!
But seriously, I need to re-energize! We are short staffed, I'm "on duty" 2 days per week, and doing 11 TLC's (transformational life coaching appts). Plus what ever else is needed. When I have time for creativity, I have no energy for it. I am behind on birthdays...nearly forgot my son's 25th! Pray for relief in the way of rest and staff. I cannot leave the others hanging while I recover, so I'll either need more umph or we need more help!
Now how may I pray for you? :) xoxo
Blessings,
Cindy
leaving comment! good idea, Deb!
Hey Cindy!
Well it would help if I enabled comments...which I did!
I understand about forgetting birthdays myself, and I have fewer children than you do.
You, your family and Shiloh http://www.shilohhomeofhope.org/ will be in my prayers, dear friend. Take care of yourself!
You may pray that this blog will bless and minister those who come here, facilitate bartering, and bring people together in relationships of faith, hope and charity.
